There have been a lot of changes in the last few years. Some of these changes really affected our way of life including the business operations of the Cortez Elks. Dispite these disruptions, there has been one constant: Our Community. Since becoming Club Manager 3 months ago, I have seen one of the strongest, committed and compassionate group of people here at our Lodge. I am honored to be an Elk and to serve this great group of members as well as our community.
One of the most important aspects of managing a large group of people is good communication. Our website, member emails and social media accounts are essential to our welfare and success. These are tools that I believe are the best way for us to spread our messages, create efficiencies, and to put us at the forefront of our community better. I hope that all of our members will take an active role in posting Photos, Comments, and interacting with our Facebook and Instagram pages.
